About dopaMe

Hi, I’m Ashley, the person behind dopaMe Parfum!

I’ve always been a maker. I’ve painted, sewn, crocheted, made jewelry, worked with clay, experimented with wood, and collected enough creative hobbies to keep me busy for several lifetimes.

I love learning how things work. I love taking an idea from my head and figuring out how to turn it into something real. So when I found perfumery, I fell hard.

What started as curiosity became a deep dive into fragrance chemistry, raw materials, formulation, and the science behind how our brains experience scent.

And then I realized something...

I wasn’t as interested in making perfume that simply smelled “good.” I wanted to make perfume that felt like something.

A memory.
A place.
A dream.
A tiny moment you wish you could bottle up and keep.

That became the foundation for dopaMe.

I start with an experience and work backward into fragrance. Instead of asking, “What notes should I use?” I ask, “What does this feeling smell like?”

ADHD is part of my story, too.

I was diagnosed as an adult, and suddenly a lot of my lifelong curiosity made sense. I’ve always been drawn to learning, creating, experimenting, and following an idea until I completely understand how it works.

Perfumery gave me a place to put all of that energy.

There’s chemistry. There’s creativity. There’s problem-solving. There are endless combinations of materials. There is always something new to learn.

And yes, naming a fragrance brand after dopamine feels pretty appropriate. Who isn't chasing their next hit?!

I make every part of dopaMe with the same intention I bring to the fragrances themselves. I formulate and blend the scents, paint the bottles, create the little details, package the orders, and obsess over the experience of opening the box.

I want you to feel the person behind the product.

I don’t want dopaMe to feel like something mass-produced and distant. I want it to feel personal. A little weird. A little playful. Thoughtful without taking itself too seriously.

Most of all, I want fragrance to be about how you feel.

You don’t need to know every fragrance note.
You don’t need a trained nose.
You only need to know what makes you feel good.

Welcome to dopaMe

A little hit of dopamine for your skin.
